The 4-H Forestry Invitational is the best organized 4-H contest in which I have been involved. Several of my students have gone on to pursue forestry as a career. Even if they did not choose forestry as a career, they have learned so much about observation and the outdoors. In today’s video game dominated youth world, getting kids away from computers and outside working as a team is refreshing. Keep up the wonderful work.
